Vehicle Refund & Repair Policy At BITTAFORD CAR SALES LTD, we take pride in offering quality vehicles and transparent service. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities regarding refunds and repairs. 30-Day Refund Policy - Customers may request a refund within 30 calendar days of the vehicle purchase date, subject to the following conditions: • Refund Amount: A full refund of the vehicle purchase price minus: Cost of any warranty purchased, Charges for valeting and professional cleaning, Fees for a full mechanical inspection, Deductions for any damage incurred during the ownership period (including wear and tear beyond reasonable use) • Eligibility Requirements: Vehicle must be returned in a roadworthy condition, All original documents, keys, and accessories, paperwork must be returned • Mileage-Based Deductions: A charge of £1.00 per mile will be deducted from the refund total to account for vehicle usage. This reflects depreciation and wear associated with mileage accrued during the ownership period. • Return Transportation: The cost of returning the vehicle to Bittaford car sales ltd is the sole responsibility of the customer. This includes: Fuel or transport charges, Towing or recovery fees (if applicable), Any third-party courier or delivery arrangements. After the initial 30-day period, the vehicle is no longer eligible for a refund. However, we offer the following support: • Repair Coverage: Any mechanical faults covered under the standard warranty terms will be repaired at no cost to the customer. • Non-Warranty Repairs: Repairs outside warranty coverage may be offered at a discounted rate, subject to assessment. • Inspection Requirement: All repair requests must be preceded by a diagnostic inspection by our approved technicians. • Refund Processing: Refunds will be issued within 14 business days of vehicle return and completion of inspection. To ensure fairness and transparency, the following deductions and responsibilities apply when a customer requests a refund within the 30-day period Consumer Rights & Faults After 6 Months- We fully comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under this law: • For the first 6 months after purchase, it is assumed that any fault found was present at the time of sale, unless we can prove otherwise. • After 6 months, the burden of proof shifts to the customer to demonstrate that the fault existed at the point of sale. We are committed to fair and lawful practice and will always work with customers to resolve issues in line with their legal rights.
